Child Safety Standards
Last updated: July 2026 · India
Synksha is an adults-only platform with zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This document sets out our standards, how to report a concern, and how we respond.
Report immediately
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In India, call 1098 (Childline) or 112 (Emergency). To report CSAE content or conduct on Synksha, email hello@synksha.com or use the in-app report option on any profile, chat or session.
01Our Commitment
- Synksha has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, on any surface of our platform.
- We prohibit any content, conduct or communication that sexualises, exploits, endangers or seeks to groom a minor.
- We act on every credible report, remove violating content, permanently ban the accounts responsible, and preserve and refer evidence to the appropriate authorities.
- These standards apply to every part of Synksha — Match profiles and chat, Margdarshan sessions, AI conversations, shared links and any user-generated content.
02Adults Only — Age Requirement
- Synksha is intended solely for adults. You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use any part of the service.
- We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
- Accounts we identify or reasonably believe to belong to a minor are suspended immediately and the associated data is deleted.
- Any user may report a suspected underage account using the reporting routes in section 04. We treat these reports as high priority.
03Prohibited Conduct
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any imagery, text or audio that sexualises a minor — real, illustrated or AI-generated.
- Grooming: building a relationship with a minor, or with someone believed to be a minor, for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, solicitation of sexual content from a minor, or arranging offline contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Trafficking, advertising or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Presenting yourself as a minor, or seeking a minor, on any profile, in any chat, or in any prompt to our AI.
- Attempting to use the AI companion, image-reading features or any other tool to generate, request or describe sexual content involving minors.
04How to Report
- In-app: every Match profile and chat carries a report option, and every Margdarshan session can be reported from the session screen. Reports reach our moderation queue directly.
- By email: write to hello@synksha.com with the subject line "CSAE REPORT". Include the profile link, username or session id and any relevant screenshots.
- Reports may be made anonymously. You do not need an account to email us a report.
- We do not retaliate against good-faith reporters, and reporting does not require you to contact the person you are reporting.
05How We Respond
- Every CSAE report is triaged as the highest severity class and reviewed by a human, not by an automated system alone.
- Where a report is credible we remove the content, suspend the account immediately, and block the user from creating new accounts.
- We preserve the relevant account data, content and logs as evidence for law enforcement rather than deleting them outright.
- We refer credible cases to the appropriate authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and local police, and cooperate fully with lawful requests.
- Where the reporter has given contact details, we confirm receipt and tell them the outcome to the extent the law allows.
06Compliance With Law
- We comply with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and its mandatory reporting obligations.
- We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including the obligation to remove CSAM on notice.
- We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in how we store, disclose and delete personal data connected to a report.
- We comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and its CSAE requirements.
