1. Who We Are

Jeevan Saathi AI ("we", "us", "our") is an India-first AI companion platform. Our service is accessible at js-ai-207639793644.asia-south1.run.app and related domains.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: Name, email address, hashed password.
  • Profile data: Date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, language preference — used to generate Kundali and personalised guidance.
  • Conversation data: Your chat messages and AI responses, stored to provide memory-powered continuity (SmritiChakra).
  • Usage data: Token counts per API call, for rate limiting and billing.
  • Payment data: Razorpay order/payment IDs and plan tier. We do not store card numbers or UPI details — these are handled by Razorpay.
  • Mood logs: Daily mood scores (1–10) if you use the Manas Swasthya feature.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide personalised AI responses using your profile and memory layers.
  • Generate Vedic Kundali, Dainik Darpan, and astrological insights.
  • Enforce plan limits (Free: 3 chats/day, Saathi: 50/day, Parivar: 100/day).
  • Send transactional emails (OTP verification, payment confirmation).
  • Detect and respond to mental health crisis signals with helpline resources.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Google Cloud SQL (asia-south1, Mumbai region). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with 12 rounds. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.

5. AI Processing

Your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We send only the context necessary for your query — we do not send your full history in every request.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of your data via email.
  • Deletion: Request account deletion — your data will be soft-deleted and permanently purged within 30 days.
  • Correction: Update your profile at any time from the Profile page.

7. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie (JWT) for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
